Probiotic Elixir
Fermented Turmeric Ginger Lemon

1 turmeric rhizome (root)
1 organic ginger rhizome (root)
2 organic lemons
raw unfiltered honey
Scrub and wash the outside of the turmeric, ginger and lemons. Use a fine hand shredder like a Microplane shredder to finely grate the entire turmeric, ginger and the peels off both lemons. Mix the pile of mushy shreds.
Then take a glass jar like from Ball or Weck and add enough raw unfiltered honey to mix into the pile of shreds and a bit of honey on top.
Leave on the countertop to ferment for 2-3 weeks. Once fermentation is finished, store in the fridge. It will last for many months.
Mix 1-2 teaspoons of the fermented mixture into a cup of water for wellness or if feeling unwell.
