Cranberry Apple Sauce

8 cups organic fresh or frozen whole cranberries

3 cups filtered water

3 organic apples

2 cups organic whole walnuts

⅓ cup unfiltered raw honey

2 cinnamon sticks

1 tablespoon organic vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Wash apples and cut each apple into 4 pieces leaving seeds and peel intact.
  2. Add cranberries, cut apples, water to a pot and boil at a low simmer for approx 30 minutes. Press down the apples into smaller pieces as it gets soft.
  3. After the 30 minutes, add walnuts. Break cinnamon sticks in half and add to the pot. Add vanilla. Let it simmer another 10 minutes.

Store in Ball glass jars in the fridge.
