Grape Slush

The polyphenols in grapes (resveratrol) have antioxidant, lipid-lowering, and anti-inflammatory actions in the body. The Grape Cure uses grapes to heal cancer naturally.

1 lb organic black or red grapes (the darker the color, the more antioxidants)

juice of 1 organic lemon

Instructions

Wash and destem the grapes from the vine. Swish in water with baking soda or hydrogen peroxide. Rinse and drain. Freeze on a unbleached baking paper lined baking tray, single layer. Once frozen take out and slightly thaw. Blend semi frozen grapes. Add fresh squeeze lemon into a blender. Serve right away.

Tip

You can prepare grapes by washing and freezing them in a single layer and then store them in a stainless container, so the slush can be made on demand.

You can also place the slush in silicon push up ice molds for ices.

Note

Ice food or even cold foods slow down digestion and are considered unhealthy in TCM. This recipe is a once in a while treat or as a replacement for unhealthy ices. Or enjoy it room temperature.
